MY ACTIVE LIFESTYLE

If I’m being completely honest, it’s hard for me to say exactly “what I do.” My fitness routine is a combination of all the things that I enjoy. My work out of the day usually depends on how my body is feeling, what I feel like doing at the moment, what I trained the day before, how much time I have, or how the weather is. Switching things up makes my workouts challenging and spontaneous. It gives me something new to look forward to every day.

My training sessions are about an hour-long and are usually done in the mornings because it makes me feel good for the rest of the day. It’s my “me-time” to work on myself both physically and mentally. I usually train five times a week and rest for two because rest and recovery are essential to muscle repair and growth. My training regime is pretty flexible. I usually alternate from bodyweight exercises, HIIT-High Intensity Interval Training, Weight Training circuits, boxing, and running. I even enjoy incorporating it all together. I love doing almost anything that gets my heart pumping and sweat dripping.

Nothing beats that satisfying feeling after crushing an intense workout.

Where Fitness Meets Fun

Being a travel enthusiast, I am a big fan of workouts that can be done anytime, anywhere. When I am in a new place, I love to soak up all that’s around me and explore my surroundings. There’s nothing more satisfying than discovering nature’s beauty on foot. If there’s a beach, you’ll probably find me running it. If there’s a nature trail, I’ll most likely be hiking it.

You can pretty much always find me in a bikini or workout wear.

My favorite way to get active is outdoors by the ocean or nature’s greenery. Feeling the sunshine on my skin, smelling the fresh air, and enjoying all that the environment has to offer makes me feel wild and free. Almost every day, my family and I enjoy the outdoors. Whether we’re wakeboarding, rollerblading, paddle boarding, biking, walking, or swimming, we are taking advantage of life’s simplicities. Some would think I work out twice a day, but I consider these fun activities blessings so I don’t count them as a structured workout. However, on days where I don’t have time to work out, I will be more than satisfied with going for a simple walk with Kobe. Kobe is my Goldendoodle puppy and favorite workout partner. You’ll probably be seeing a lot of him in my posts and videos!

At the end of the day, it’s all about moving your body and finding what excites and works best for you. Once you find something you love, you’ll actually look forward to it every day!
